Disclosures
Important boundaries for professional research, model licensing, performance materials and implementation.
MarketGauge Pro provides professional research, model signals and licensing. It does not execute end-client trades, determine end-client suitability or replace the receiving firm’s fiduciary process.
Performance information
MarketGauge Pro does not present model-performance figures as public headline results. Detailed model-level or blend-level results and supporting verification are available to qualified firms upon request for the professional use under consideration.
Each controlled package identifies the result type, model and production version, period, benchmark, pricing methodology, fees and cost assumptions, material risks and limitations. It distinguishes backtested research from hypothetical model performance calculated from signals distributed to licensees in real time. A contemporaneous signal record establishes what MG Pro communicated and when; it does not represent actual performance in an account controlled by MG Pro. “Supporting verification” means the records and calculation review described in that package; it does not imply GIPS verification, an audit or independent verification unless expressly stated.
Implementation differences
The receiving firm controls whether a signal is implemented, as well as execution timing, prices, account construction, fees, restrictions and supervision. MG Pro therefore cannot know the exact prices achieved or whether every signal was followed. Actual firm or client results may differ materially from any hypothetical model presentation. Past results do not guarantee future results.
White-label and firm-branded materials
White-label and co-branded use is permitted only under a written professional agreement. The receiving firm remains responsible for suitability, allocation, execution, custody, supervision, compliance approval and client communications. Model descriptions, methodology, performance information, required attribution and material modifications must remain within the approved program and may not imply that the receiving firm created or controls MarketGauge Pro’s underlying models.
Historical signal validation and execution.
In 2023, Absolute Performance Verification independently validated the historical MarketGauge.com signal records covered by its report. MarketGauge continues to use the same signal-distribution process while refining its investment models. The report defines the models, periods and procedures reviewed. That historical validation does not automatically extend to later periods or model upgrades.
MarketGauge.com subscribers and MarketGauge Pro clients receive the same model signals. MGAM executes the applicable signals in managed accounts using the models and allocations selected for each portfolio.
Execution prices can be more or less favorable than the model’s reference prices on any individual trade. Account returns also reflect fees, timing, allocations and cash flows. MarketGauge cannot verify subscriber or Pro client fill prices.
Verifier credentials: Wesley Western, founder of Absolute Performance Verification, is listed on the GIPS Standards Interpretations Subcommittee. This credential does not imply MarketGauge GIPS compliance or CFA Institute endorsement.
